Biard + FCS sign the bond for our new EES

May 22, 2025 Frankfort, KY — Franklin County Schools is proud to announce a significant step forward in the development of the new Elkhorn Elementary School. On May 22, 2025, representatives from Baird, the district’s bonding company, joined district leaders at the Central Office for the official signing of the bond agreement that will fund the construction of the new school.

This event marks a major milestone in the district’s long-term vision to expand and enhance educational opportunities for students across Franklin County. The Elkhorn Elementary School project is designed to meet the growing needs of the district while providing a modern, innovative learning environment for future generations.
