For the first time since 2010, the Hearn Elementary School Hornets have captured the Girls Elementary League Championship, securing a historic victory for the school.
The Hornets delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament. In a thrilling championship game, the team pushed past the Second Street Panthers in an intense overtime battle to claim the title.
Hearn standout Sin’yai was named Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) for her exceptional leadership and performance on the court.
This team played with incredible hear. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder. We are very proud of all of our elementary girls for a fantastic season.
The championship marks a major milestone for Hearn Elementary School and highlights the continued growth of its athletics program.
